Our certified hiking hotel has been around for 20 years and is centrally, but quietly situated on a small hill in the village of Dorfgastein. In winter our ski hotel is located right at the ski piste of Dorfgastein’s cable cars. In summer you reach the surrounding mountains in no time with the Fulseck cable cars. The centre of Dorfgastein with shopping possibilities is only 2 minutes away on foot. A ski and a hiking bus stop are in direct proximity as well.

Spend your vacation at the Aktivhotel Gasteiner Einkehr in our 23 cosy, natural wood-furnished and flower-named rooms. Get up and enjoy Gastein’s mountains straight away – all rooms come with a balcony offering fantastic views. Bathrobes, cable TV as well as hair dryers complete the comfort. Our Aktivhotel Gasteiner Einkehr is suited for barrier-free travelling thanks to its elevator and other amenities.
Our biological and extensive breakfast buffet with home-made delicacies offers everything to perfectly start the day. The self-made cakes are prepared fresh on a daily basis and in the afternoon can be enjoyed on our sun terrace. In the evening our regional kitchen offers 4-course select menus.
After an active hiking day with you partner our large, newly built spa & wellness area invites you to unwind. Whether in the Bio and Herbal saunas, the steam bath and infrared cabin or in the large relax area – here you will find everything that wellness seekers could long for. To our small guests, we offer a cosy playing room.

Winter in Gastein
On winter vacation with your partner we offer everything snow lovers desire.
With the nearby Fulseck cable cars you can fast and simply access Gastein’s mountain world. Optimise your technique on the pistes of the Ski Amadé network or learn how to take your first steps with a skiing instructor. On the training hill right outside our house your children can learn how to ski in a playful way.

Summer in Gastein
Hiking enthusiasts watch out! Have one of our two trained hiking guides show you the fascinating mountain world of the Arltal and discover mountain lakes and summits, like the Rauchkogel. You can rent suitable gear (hiking poles, backpack, drinking bottle, rain protection) free of charge in our hiking hotel.
