WELCOME BACK - THE ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION AT KRAFTWERK
How wonderful and exciting! Familiar faces, familiar artist friends - they are all making their way back to the mountains, back to the place that holds so many memories. For our anniversary exhibition at the Kraftwerk, they are bringing their works with them - works that tell stories, that were inspired by Bad Gastein and that reflect the spirit of this special place.
Here, where it all began, where long mountain tours, unforgettable trips to Salzburg and evenings spent together - sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly - accompanied their artistic work, an exhibition full of energy, encounters and new perspectives is now being created.
The selection was not easy. Too many great artists, too many fascinating works. At my side is Silvie Aigner, whose in-depth knowledge and professional eye as long-time editor-in-chief of the art magazine Parnass have contributed significantly to the selection and curation of this special exhibition.
They are travelling from near and far - from New York, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Austria and Germany. They include Jorinde Voigt, Clemens Wolf, Philipp Fürhofer, Gerwald Rockenschaub, Henrik Eiben and many more - different perspectives, different languages of art - and yet united in the atmosphere of Bad Gastein.
It is a reunion and a rediscovery at the same time. A celebration of art, friendship and inspiration.
