“Come with me to Paradise Road” - with this expectant title, the ‘GastEinKlang’ choir invites its audience to a varied concert evening in the parish church of Bad Hofgastein.
All the singers of the renowned Gastein vocal ensemble with their choirmaster Martin Aigner are already looking forward to performing the pieces of music they have rehearsed with great dedication and commitment on the Friday immediately following Whitsun. The musical spectrum ranges from down-to-earth folk songs that tell of traditional life and declarations of love to stirring, deeply moving sacred works and international choral literature that expresses our longings and pleas for peace and harmony in a beautifully melodious way. After last summer's great success, the “GirlsKlang” youth choir will also be taking part in this concert, bringing the pieces carefully selected by their choirmaster Lena Gold to the audience with skillful verve and commitment. During the performance of the Bad Hofgastein secondary school band, the audience will be amazed at the high quality of the young girls and boys from Gastein. Dietmar Magler will host the one-and-a-half-hour program in his usual manner, while Martin Aigner will be responsible for the overall musical direction.
