The Tauern motorail connects the Gastein valley with Carinthia

 


The popular Tauernschleuse connects the Gasteinertal in Salzburg with the Mölltal valley in Carinthia. The ÖBB Tauernschleuse takes you safely to your holiday region of Gastein, so you can find great holiday offers.

The car transfer trains run every 60 minutes (starting times from Mallnitz to Böckstein: 5:50 a.m. to 10:50 p.m.), both northbound and southbound. The short journey time of 11 minutes flies by.

Loading time: 5 minutes before departure of the train.

Journey time: 11 minutes; reservations not possible!
