The Graukogel Hut in Bad Gastein starts the winter season from December 1st in new splendor and under loving, new management! The new patrons, family Hausstätter, are looking forward to welcoming you in the upcoming winter season.

The new tenants look forward to warmly welcoming you and treating you to traditional Austrian cuisine. Of course, freshly tapped Stiegl beer is also served - perfect for a cozy stop.

From December 26th, the lift will take you directly to the hut so you can relax after a winter tour or a day of skiing. Come by, enjoy the hospitable atmosphere and let yourself be pampered!

Ski Touring Evening in winter

For ski touring enthusiasts, nocturnal athletes and winter-lovers the Grauko­gel Hut is open until 10 pm every Wednesday & Friday and also on full moon nights.

Full moon nights 2024/2025: 15.12.2024, 13.1.2025, 12.2.2025 und 14.3.2025

Please note that during the ski touring evenings, snowcats (without winches) and snow-making equipment are in use and no slope safety and slope control is provided.

Wednesday - Sunday from 6 pm with advance reservation: Spare ribs or pork roast with dumpling and cabbage salad and potatoes

Early risers special from 6 am

With advance reservation (until 8 pm the day before) a breakfast will be served for the early risers.

Early risers please note: DESCENT is only possible AFTER 9 AM when the slopes are open!

Open from Sunday 1.12.2024. Wednesday to Sunday from 9 am - 5 pm.
Slopes closed from 5 pm!

Skitouring evenings Wednesday & Friday and the full moon nights (15.12.2024, 13.1.2025, 12.2.2025 AND 14.3.2025) until 10 pm.

A light breakfast will be served for early risers. Please give advance notice the day before.
Please note, that the descent is only possible after 9 am when the slopes are open.
