The heart of the new Hotel BLÜ at Kaiser Franz Platz in Bad Hofgastein is clearly the BLÜ Bar and the BLÜ Restaurant. Here, not only the guests and locals feel free, but also the chefs in the kitchen. Here, people mix and meld, try things out and cook up with passion. Because there are no rules here. Only cosmopolitanism and good taste.

Three culinary fields are strongly represented when you roam the menu: Austrian, of course; Levantine Oriental cuisine, where vegetables play the leading role; and exciting Southeast Asian cuisine. The venison loin and the celery Tascherl meet the stuffed eggplant, the BLÜ Shakshuka the Pho beef soup, the Ceviche the Kaiserschmarrn. All influences inspire each other. The visionary kitchen brigade is responsible for this. The BLÜ restaurant is open daily from 07.30 to 22.00 with continuous hot cuisine.

Passionate breakfasters can fortify themselves for an exciting day at the rich breakfast buffet. Oven-warmed, homemade, baked, pickled, preserved and fried foods join egg dishes and omelets, fresh fruit, croissants and French toast. Daily changing highlights like delicious Shakshuka, Vietnamese beef noodle soup "Pho" or the American classic "Eggs Benedict" inspire the BLÜ breakfast and enchant into other worlds. For the late risers, there's the BLÜ-auf breakfast à la carte "all day" with heavenly specialties.

Life pulsates in the BLÜ Bar

A fine selection of liquid benefits awaits in the BLÜ Bar next door. This is where locals and guests alike meet. Right on Kaiser-Franz-Platz, a quick Caffè al Banco or a glass of Prosecco, a small beer from a local brewery or a perfectly balanced signature cocktail - created by Bartender of the Year 2020 Isabella Lombardo - awaits to accompany a jazz concert or DJ line. There's room for everything at BLÜ Bar. Campari or gin, espresso or homemade lemonade, inside or outside? It doesn't matter. We are so free and make every day or evening an informal celebration here. The BLÜ Bar and Terrace is open daily from 11:00 - 00:00 and as a Safe Gastein partner is of course "safe".
