Chris Lachmuth
is a dance teacher, dance sport trainer, entertainer and co-organizer of Tanz:Fest Gastein.
As a certified dance master and state-certified trainer for dance sports, he places particular emphasis on "good and proper dancing". The right technique makes the most beautiful hobby for two so much fun. He shares his passion and international experience with everyone in his lessons. Chris Lachmuth is also known as an entertainer & presenter on TV, not least through the dance series "Österreich tanzt" on ORF sport+.
Benny & Anastasia Zentz
Benny & Anastasia are an all-round dance instructor couple from Germany, who are at home on many surfaces. Their greatest national and international successes so far have been in Discofox. For several years they have also dedicated themselves to West Coast Swing and are now also in demand as trainers there.
Gerhard und Walli Bayer
Gerhard vom Tanzstern in Salzburg, durfte in den lateinamerikanischen Tänzen im Einzelpaar und auch in der Formation internationale Turnierluft schnuppern. Doch auch als leidenschaftliche Tanzlehrer und Social-Tänzer „entstauben“ Walli und Gerhard mit Humor, solidem Wissen und Praxisnähe das Tanzen. Denn für beide gilt „Jeder kann tanzen!“.
Mit der entsprechenden Grundtechnik, freiem Denken und dem Verständnis von „Lead and Follow“ macht Tanzen auch dir noch mehr Spaß!“

Who can participate in Tanz:Fest Gastein?
All dance enthusiasts, from beginners to advanced. There are workshops for all levels - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
What tickets are available? Where can I buy them?
How can I book my accommodation?
Book your overnight stay in one of the partner hotels of Tanz:Fest Gastein. You can also conveniently book the Tanz:Fest as a "package".
How do I get my Tanz:Fest documents and Tanz:Fest ribbon?
You will get the Tanz:Fest tape, the brochure and all info at the Tanz:Fest Info Desk in the Congress Center. Please take your booking confirmation (e-mail) with you! The Tanz:Fest Band will get you into all workshops and events included in your Dance Pass.
Where can I find the workshop schedule?
In the brochure available at your "Check In" at the Tanz:Fest Info Desk or online at www.tanzfestgastein.com.
Which workshops can I attend with my ticket?
You can attend all workshops that take place on the day your ticket is valid. You do not need to register for a workshop beforehand.
What are the workshop levels? What are the prerequisites?
B = Beginner: No knowledge available/required.
I = Intermediate: Basic knowledge (basics, basic steps and basic figures) in the respective dance are available.
A = Advanced: Knowledge of about one year of dance experience in the respective dance is available. The most common figures and steps should be danced on "call".
Where do the workshops take place?
The workshops will all take place in the Congress Center of Kongress Gastein in Bad Hofgastein.
I'm skiing in the morning - am I missing any of the lessons?
No, because the workshops from the morning will be repeated in the afternoon!
Is there an option to film the workshop content for your own use?
At the end of each workshop you will have the opportunity to film the lesson content (step sequences, figures). Please note that recordings of any kind (sound, video) are only allowed in this time, defined by the dance instructor. A publication of the recordings is NOT allowed!
Do I need a dance partner?
Most workshops teach couple dances. A dance partner is of course not mandatory, but it is useful to have a dance partner. Of course everybody can dance with each other - no matter if man/woman, woman/woman or man/man. Today we speak of followers and leaders anyway.
I don't have a dance partner - are there cab dancers?
Cab dancers are not available.
To search for a dance partner, you are welcome to use our Facebook community . Write your ad under the post "Dance partner wanted". You are welcome to give us your contact, which we will pass on in case of requests for dance partners.

Can I have dinner at the evening events?
At every evening event there is a possibility to eat at least snacks. If you have booked a dinner at your hotel and are eating out, do not forget to inform the reception to cancel the dinner.
Do I have to register for the hut evening?
The hut evening with mulled wine reception and dinner (traditional: Hüttenpfandl and Kasnocken) is included in the dance pass. The drinks have to be paid by yourself. If you have food intolerances, please let us know in advance!
Is there a dress code for the workshops?
The way you prefer to come to dance class, sporty or casual.
There is no dress code for the evening events!
Please wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes for the winter walk!
Are there drinks in the workshop locations?
Yes, there will be vending machines where you can buy drinks. You can also bring your own drink bottle and fill up this water bottle with tap water.
I want to go skiing - where can I buy the tickets?
Ski tickets are not included in the price of the Tanz:Fest.
Check the ski pass prices online and book now, then you have the chance to secure your tickets at the best price!
In winter 2023/24 there is a contingent of ski passes for each date at the online early bird price. The price depends on the season, demand and time of purchase. The rule is: the earlier you buy, the cheaper. At the ticket offices, the ski passes will continue to be offered at the fixed ticket office price.

You lie in loose clothing on a rubber mat on a warm waterbed. The hydrojet massage relieves tension and loosens the muscles. It also stimulates the circulation and increases the metabolism.
