Exciting head-to-head duels are the order of the day at the Snowboard World Cup in Bad Gastein. The superstars of the alpine snowboarding scene have been regular guests at the traditional Salzburg resort for many years and battle it out for the day's victory in thrilling floodlit competitions.

With an average gradient of 34 degrees, the Bucheben in Bad Gastein is one of the steepest courses in the World Cup. The course is 262 metres long with a height difference of 84 metres. 100 floodlight masts with more than 2000 watts illuminate the slope at the night final.
