Haus Edel is located above the village, close to the forest, with excellent view to the valley, walking distance to the center of town is approximately 15 minutes, the walking distance to the ski slope is 5 minutes, from there you can ski to the bottom station of the Schlossalmbahn.

Haus Edel is a smoke-free house and provides the perfect accommodation for enjoyable holidays: spacious, comfortable apartments for 2 to 6 persons with separate bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen with cosi couch courner. Haus Edel offers bright, modern rooms that suit every taste: ideal for family holidays with children or a sporty getaway for everyone. Each apartment has balconies towards east and west, satellite TV, telephone and indoor-safe. In summer, guests are welcome to use the garden with sunbathing lawn and furniture to relax. After hiking tours or skiing-days the guest can relax in our sauna area including the infra-red cabin. Lounge room, Wi-Fi, ski-room, shoe-dryer and parking spaces are available all year round.
Summer in Gastein
In summer, Bad Hofgastein is a true hiking paradise with a network of trails, from easy walking to climbing in all difficulties. Bad Hofgastein also offers numerous cycling tours for mountain bike enthusiasts.
Winter in Gastein
The Schlossalmbahn cable car takes you to Gastein’s largest combined ski area Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, with long runs in all difficulties, with the high-lights "Die Nord" and the "Infinity-Loop".
The winter sports paradise offers an abundance of activities: Gasti Snowpark for children and beginners at the ski centre Angertal, Funslope Gastein for those looking for an extra thrill and Freeride Schlossalm for off-piste skiing adventures; cross-country tracks for classic skiers or skaters. Non-skiers can enjoy guided snow-shoe-hiking tours, walks along the winter wonderpaths, summit walks on Schloßalm, Stubnerkogel, Graukogel or Fulseck and a lot more.
