Happy birthday, Johann Strauss son! The Waltz King will celebrate his 200th birthday in 2025. Of course, this should also be celebrated in Bad Gastein!
This year's motto of the Chambermusic:Cycle, a variation on a very famous waltz by the jubilarian, is all about Viennese music of the 19th century and beyond.
The era of the Strauss dynasty is characterised by lively ball nights, songs from operettas and the snappy marching music of the K&K regiments.
Top-class ensembles from Austria and abroad promise a colourful musical ‘bouquet of flowers’ on a journey through the exciting time at the beginning of the Belle Epoque, the flair of which can still be felt in the venerable Wiener Saal.
The following ensembles perform on the stage of the Wiener Saal:

Martina Herzog - french horn
Florian Fletschberger - french horn
